This surely is a day I am enjoying for there is a lot happening in the world of my ‘beloved’ Vette and I can’t ask for anything more. You would remember the Specter Werkes Corvette GTR (based on the C6) unveiled a year ago. Just as the car was beginning to slack off in popularity, Specter Werkes revisited it with the trimming scissors. The upgraded variant that has gone on sale now has been given an upshot with an extra 80 hp taking the overall toll to 615 horses. The displacement of the engine is eventually up to 6.8L compared to the 6.2L the first model had on offer and it is just one of the many tuning options available.
On the exterior the car wins a Corsa exhaust alongwith full widebody treatment supported by broadened suspension and a wider covering overall. The BASF silver color haling from the territory of the Mercedes Benz AMG models embraces the Vette GTR from Specter Works. The interior seats also get a switch making way for the impressive GTR-standard embroidered seats with Spinneybeck leather trim.
