Dutch students Emile Pop and Justin de Boer are working on a new sports car, the Project Savage. The car is based off Corvette ZR1’s powertrain and gets its design inspiration from yachts. The four-seat coupe also owes a bit of its inspiration to Miami Vicestyle violence and car chases. It features a foldable/retractable glass top that can be removed or placed in just 20 seconds.
Interiors are a mix of carbon fiber, alcantara, machined aluminum and teakwood. The complete car will weigh nearly 1280kg. The designers are currently looking for investors, and hope to get the car into limited production; beginning next year. They intend to produce a total of 20 units, with four units being produced each year.
