It appears some images of the upcoming Gallardo LP 550-2 have found their way to the web. And these images aren’t some grudging blurred snapshots; they rather look like official images. The Gallardo LP550-2 is built on an RWD system, unlike the usual AWD that appears in cars from the raging bull.
It will be powered by a 5.2-l naturally aspirated V10 churning out 550hp, as is evident from the car’s name. The new car will get a six-speed manual transmission, and will reach 100 km/h from a standing start in just 3.9 seconds. The Gallardo has lost 30 kgs of weight, and with it, 10% has been shed off the price tag. To be produced in a limited production run of 250 units, the LP 550-2 will be available in eight colors for the exterior.
