Dom Perignon, one of the world’s most esteemed champagne houses, won highest accolades at the 2009 San Francisco International Wine Competition, which is the largest and most influential international wine competition in America. The judges at the show chose the Dom Perignon OEnotheque 1995 as “Best in Show” of all the wines that entered the competition. Moreover, the Dom Perignon Vintage 2000 was honored with the “Double Gold” medal, which is the second highest ranking a wine can achieve in competition. The OEnotheque 1995 was aged for 13 years in the Dom cellars and it features hints of mineral, oyster shell, seaweed, iodine, toast, smoke and peat. On the other hand, the Dom Perignon Vintage 2000 is a paradoxical vintage that offers aromatic, gustatory and tactile tensions. Dom Perignon vintages are known for the vibrancy of the aromatics and the harmony of the falvors.
