Take a look at the DeWitt Concept
No. 1 and the first two words that would strike you mind would be
‘steampunk-ishly monstrous.’ The one-of-a-kind timepiece is an upshot of
collaboration between DeWitt and French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. This
gothic pirate spaceship of a watch does set new standards for steampunk
artifacts with its expanding riveted case, flying tourbillon, five barrels and a
21 day power reserve. The flying tourbillon has been employed to counteract the
force of gravity and keep the watch accurate. You might scream to read that it
costs a whopping $633,000, but then, you know one-of-a-kind
creations don’t come cheap. Buyers? Well, the Dewitt Incognito 2008 Concept No.1
watch has already been picked up by Jimmy Tan of Prince Jewellery and Watch
Company at the OnlyWatch auction. Can you find anything better than this
timepiece to reveal your steampunked-up personality?
