Brunswick Billiards is one of the most trusted names in pool tables and game room furniture. Now they are offering the distinctly intercontinental Zanzibar table as an exclusive, limited edition product. Only 10 will be put into production and offered for sale. Inspired by European, Indian and African influences, the Zanzibar table features a rich mix of international woods including European Mappa burl and rails of American Cherry. The aprons and leg pedestals of the pool table are surrounded by hand-textured and etched brass panels. One of the most striking features of the table is the African-inspired brass monkeys that offer support for the rail along each pocket. The table gets its name from a small island off East Africa in the Indian Ocean. Austin Rothbard, the president of Brunswick Billiards, said that its limited edition nature provides consumers with the opportunity to purchase a rare class of table unlikely to be seen or duplicated anywhere else. Manufactured by Theodore Alexander and designed by Paul Maitland-Smith, the 9-foot Zanzibar table is available for a cool $24,999.
