The company had earlier impressed us with the CLX 25th anniversary edition speakers and the fully active Purity hybrid loudspeakers. The latest offering from the house is the Summit X hybrid electrostatic loudspeaker, which brings controlled dispersion to low frequencies. With a redesigned crossover and electronics, Summit X packs the magical electrostatic mid-range clarity of the CLX into a smaller package. Summit X boasts many performance-enhancing technologies, including a high-resolution XStat electrostatic transducer, low-distortion Controlled Dispersion PoweredForce woofers, and highly sophisticated CLX inspired Vojtko crossover engineering. These technologies replicate midrange frequencies with new levels of precision and openness.

One thing we can’t miss here is the unique ground effects light that create a captivating visual presentation in darkened listening rooms. The new Summit X hybrid electrostatic loudspeaker is shipping now, with a starting price of US $13,995. Custom design options are also available.

C-Stream Yacht Concept Docks adjustable waterslide for recreation

by Administrator 30. January 2009 05:07

For those who like to spend their vacations on-board, far from the hectic city life and surrounded by the serenity of the sea, this playful yacht design from the design team at Studio de Voogt, will revise your perception. The yacht design is designed to indulge everyone in the family, from the kids to the adults, with its family-centric design. The C-stream design features spacious outdoor area, with the outside aft deck featuring a dock and a number of ‘pop-up’ pieces of furniture. The aft deck features an adjustable waterslide for other recreational activities too and it can act independently as a floating island, leaving the dock open for use as a paddling pool for younger children. When docked, the float complements the design of the wavedeck. This unique, multi-functional wavedeck allows you liberty to use it just as you desire.

Another cool feature of the C-stream is that the shoot water slide descends from the sun deck to give you an underwater sea-view from the half-submerged Jacuzzi. We would love to see this wonderful concept turn real in future.
